Anyone who has experienced the addictiveness of WoW (and other MMOs) can attest to how compelling these games are... I know I can. I coulda swore I was talkin about something pretty similar a while back, but anyways this is the official version of a random philosophical insight --

but basically, what are you more ashamed of? Being a nerd or jerkin off too much? Unfortunately I think these two go hand in...err together.
Fortunately, browsing WoW forums at work won't get you fired... I hope :)
Addendum: Pretty funny, I was talking about this article with a buddy of mine from my hockey team without knowing that he even played WoW and he chimed in with "I'm even ashamed to mention it now!" - my response? "Don't worry, you are amongst friends.... you play horde or alliance?"
