American religion is confuzzled?

No shit Americans are confused about religion and the specific beliefs within these religions. However, this article/survey breaks it down in-depth with some suprising and hilarious facts.

Here's a few highlights, with one fake of my own creation - see if u can guess:

"21 percent of self-defined atheists believe in God."

"Some believe the survey's findings illuminate superficiality in American faith practice."

"40 percent of Americans follow other's blindly."

"Many believers may know little about the true practices of their own faith, much less others."

Can you guess? Read the article, there are some other crazy contradictions in the faith of Americans. But, at least, as the article points out, some of that is at least positive - such as the fact that Americans believe in a wide array of religious practices, even if they mix and match to their own preference.
